This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for canceling hosting, support, and subscription services provided by functionExprt LLC. It applies to all clients, regardless of how they initially signed up (Kickstarter backers, direct customers, or others).

General Cancellation Terms

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Clients may cancel their subscription at any functionExpert LLC. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for cancellations made during an active billing cycle.
  • Impact of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, hosting and support services will be discontinued at the end of the billing period. Backend services (e.g., shared APIs, databases) will no longer be accessible unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Migration Assistance

Clients who choose to cancel may request migration assistance to transition their website to their own infrastructure for a one-time migration fee of $150. This option includes:

  • Static Website Code: The static frontend code (React files) for client-side hosting.
  • Migration Fee: A one-time fee of $150 for migration support.
  • Exclusions: Backend services (e.g., shared APIs, databases) are not included in the migration and will be terminated upon cancellation.
  • Post-Migration Support: 7 days of support are available to assist with the transition.

Re-subscription Terms

Clients who cancel and later wish to re-subscribe may do so by contacting [Your Company Name]. Re-subscription terms will be based on service availability and may require setup fees.
